  Object of the invention are photographic emulsions including silver halide grains dispersed in gelatin and at least a methine dye spectral sensitizer associated with said grains, including in association therewith a supersensitizing orstabil- izing amount of polymeric compound having an aminoallylidenmalononitrile moiety.
