The synthesis of new 2-(4-substituted thiazol-2-yl)-2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-diones, 2-(4-oxo-4,5-dihydro-thiazol-2-yl)-2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-diones, and 2-(5-arylidene-4-oxo-4,5-dihydrothiazol-2-yl)-2,3-dihy-drophthalazine-1,4-diones is reported.
