Novel pyrrole and pyrazole derivatives containing phenylamino-propanoyl moiety were synthesized from 3-phenylaminopropanohydrazide through its condensation with diketones. The intramolecular cyclization reaction of disubstituted semicarbazides and thiosemicarbazides was used to prepare new 1,3,4-thiadiazole, 1,3,4-oxadiazole and 1,2,4-triazole compounds.
