... An incr in color printed newspapers might be a new source of clinical allergy to azo dyes. Patch tests were performed in 32 patients with an established p-aminoazobenzene allergy using a series of important azo dyes used in offset printing ink (Pigment Yellow 12, Pigment Yellow 13, Pigment Red 53, Pigment Red 57), as well as with dye containing inks and specimens of color printed newspaper containing these azo dyes. In 25 out of the 32 patients (78%), positive patch tests were seen to textile azo dyes, in particular to Disperse Orange 3 (24 patients). In none of the 32 patients were reactions observed to the azo dyes used in printing ink, to the inks used or to the color printed paper specimens, indicating that these products were apparently not a cause of contact dermatitis in /this/ group of patients with azo dye sensitization.

Pigment yellow 12 was tested for mutagenicity in the Salmonella/microsome preincubation assay using a protocol approved by the National Toxicology Program. Yellow 12 was tested over a wide range of doses (0, 100, 333, 1000, 3333, and 10,000 ug/plate) in four Salmonella typhimurium strains (TA98, TA100, TA1535, and TA1537) in the presence and absence of Aroclor-induced rat or hamster liver S9. Yellow 12 was negative in these tests and all dose levels tested caused formation of a precipitate.

制备方法与用途

用途

该产品用于油墨、油漆、橡胶、塑料、涂料印花浆以及文教用品的着色。

生产方法 方法1:

3,3'-二氯联苯胺进行重氮化后,与乙酰乙酰苯胺偶合,经过滤、干燥等处理过程制成产品。具体步骤如下:

  1. 重氮化
  2. 偶合

该产品的质量要求包括:色光需接近标准品,着色力为标准品的100±5(分),分含量≤2%,吸油量50±5%,溶性盐含量≤1.5%,耐热性达到180℃,耐晒性5-6级,耐酸性和耐碱性均为1-2级,渗性和油渗性分别为1-2级,乙醇渗性为1级,石蜡渗性为2级。细度(通过60目筛后余物含量)≤5%。

方法2:

由邻硝基氯苯出发,在烧碱溶液介质中用粉还原并缩合为2,2'-二二苯,再用盐酸处理转位成3,3' 二联苯胺盐酸盐。随后将3,3'-二氯联苯胺重氮化后,与邻-乙酰乙酰甲苯胺进行偶合而制得产品。

    An insoluble azo pigment is produced by ejecting a diazo solution and a grounding solution continuously into an ejector such that within the ejector, the diazo solution and grounding solution are mixed with each other and are subjected to a coupling reaction.
