A new route was developed for the synthesis of a specific phosphasilene 1-(2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenyl) -2-tert-butyl-2-(2,4,6-tri-isopropyphenyl)phosphasilene (1e). Several novel phosphasilenes (1) with various substituents on phosphorus have been synthesized.
