    An adhesive sheet for dicing comprising a base film provided at least one surface thereof with an adhesive layer, wherein the base film comprises an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer comprising propylene and ethylene and/or &agr;-olefin including 4 to 8 carbon atoms as polymerization components, and the peak melting temperature of the olefinic thermoplastic elastomer is 120° C. or more, is free of economical disadvantages with less reduction in the quality level of products and less generation of fibrous off-cuts during dicing. In particular, fibrous off-cuts occur less during dicing when the base film contains a crystal-nucleating agent. Further, generation of chippings during dicing can be prevented by incorporation of an ethylene series polymer into the base film.

    The crystalline synthetic resin composition of the present invention comprises 100 parts by weight of a crystalline synthetic resin compounded with (a) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of at least one of alkali metal carboxylates, alkali metal β-diketonates and alkali metal salts of β-ketoacetic esters and (b) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of at least one of basic polyvalent metal salts of cyclic organophosphoric esters of the following general formula (I):    wherein R₁ represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R₂ and R₃ each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, M represents a group III or IV metal atom of the periodic table, and X represents HO- when M represents a group III metal atom of the periodic table and X represents O= or (HO)₂- when M represents a group IV metal atom of the periodic table.

    A propylene-ethylene copolymer composition is obtained which has a good moldability and is excellent in the balance of rigidity, toughness, and impact-strength. A propylene-ethylene copolymer composition having a melt flow rate of 10 to 300 g/10 minutes and obtained by producing 60 to 95 % by weight, based on the weight of whole polymer, of a propylene polymer having a melt flow rate (ASTM D-1238) in the range of 100 to 1,000 g/10 minutes and having a ratio (Cf) of integrated values of the propylene polymer dissolved in o-dichlorobenzene at a temperature of lower than 112°C, and a temperature of 112°C or higher, respectively, which is an index of the stereoregurality in molecules and molecular weight distribution, when the amounts of the propylene polymer dissolved therein at each of the temperatures were determined by raising the temperature of the o-dichlorobenzene continuously or stepwise, of 0.5 or less, by carrying out polymerization of propylene in the presence of a highly stereoregular catalyst and hydrogen in a polymerization step (I), and then producing 5 to 40 % by weight, based on the weight of whole polymer, of an ethylene-propylene copolymer by feeding ethylene and propylene to the propylene polymer produced in the polymerization step (I) to react so that the content of ethylene becomes 30 to 80 % by weight, in a polymerization step (II); and a propylene-ethylene copolymer composition comprising the composition mentioned above and a α-crystal and/or β-crystal nucleator added therewith.

    A polypropylene composition for the production of various molded articles which are excellent in moldability, mold shrinkage factor on molding, rigidity, flexibility, impact resistance, in particular low-temperature impact resistance, transparency, gloss, stress-whitening resistance, and the balance thereof; various molded articles having the above properties; a propylene composition which is suitable for a base resin for the polypropylene composition; and a process for the production thereof. The propylene composition comprises a propylene homopolymer and a propylene-ethylene copolymer, the intrinsic viscosity of the copolymer ([η]RC) is in the range of 1.7 to 2.8 dl/g, the intrinsic viscosity ratio of the homopolymer to the copolymer ([η]RC/[η]PP) is in the range of 0.7 to 1.2 and a product [(WPP/WRC) x ([η]RC/[η]PP)] of the weight ratio (WPP/WRC) of the homopolymer to the copolymer and the intrinsic viscosity ratio thereof is in the range of 1.0 to 3.0.
