A fountain solution composition for lithographic printing characterized by comprising at least one acyclic hydrocarbon diol compound, having 9 carbon atoms in total and two —OH groups, wherein the number of carbon atoms existing between said two —OH groups via minimal distance is from 2 to 6, and at least one cationic compound represented by a specific formula.
(In the formulae, R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, each represents hydrogen or lower alkyl.)
The present invention relates to a process for producing 1,5-pentanediol derivatives represented by general formula (II) which comprises reacting 2-butenal derivatives represented by general formula (I) with formaldehyde, and hydrogenating the obtained mixture of reaction products.
The present invention provides a polyester polyol comprising within its molecular structure both structural units respectively represented by the following general formula (I) and general formula (II). In addition, the present invention provides a polyurethane using the polyester polyol of the present invention. This polyurethane exhibits excellent resistance to hydrolysis, resistance to alkali, mechanical strength, and the like.
(wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents lower alkyl having 1 to 8 carbon atoms),
(wherein R3 and R4 are the same or different and each represents lower alkyl having 1 to 8 carbon atoms).
The present invention relates to a diglycidyl ether represented by the following general formula (I):
(wherein, R1 and R2 are the same or different, and represent lower alkyl having 1∼6 carbon atoms), a composition including the glycidyl ether and epoxy resin, and epoxy resin cured product obtained by the composition. The glycidyl ether can be used as a reactive diluent for epoxy resins.
The present invention relates to di(meth)acrylate which is useful as a UV light or electron ray curing coating agent, etc., represented by the following general formula (I).
(wherein, R1 and R2 are the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom or CH3, and R3 and R4 are the same or different and represent lower alkyl of 1∼6 carbon atoms).
The di(meth)acrylate of the present invention is easily cured to provide a cured product having superior toughness and flexibility.
