We report herein the transfer of dual photoredox and nickel catalysis for C(sp2)C(sp3) cross coupling form batch to flow. This new procedure clearly improves the scalability of the previous batch reaction by the reactor’s size and operating time reduction, and allows the preparation of interesting compounds for drug discovery in multigram amounts.

broad range of free alcohols and aromatichalides can be facilely employed in this transformation, representing a new paradigm for the C(sp3)–C(sp2) bond construction between free alcohols and aryl halides with the extrusion of formaldehyde. Under thermal conditions, nickel-catalyzed C(sp3)−Hredoxfunctionalization with carbonelectrophiles has been advanced to forge value-added C(sp3)−C bonds in good to excellent efficiency. This method emphasizes the use of external Zn as reductant and di-tert-butyl peroxide as an oxidant and shows remarkable compatibility with Ni-catalysis.

Heckreaction between N-heteroaryl halides and heterocyclic olefins has been accomplished by adopting either a P, P=O-based ligand or (S)-DTBM- SEGPHOS, leading to the formation of a variety of nonchiral or chiral α-heteroaryl-substituted heterocycles.
