Novel adducts are formed when 7-methylenecycloocta-1,3,5-triene is treated with reactive dienophiles and chlorosulphonyl isocyanate. Other 7-alkylidenecycloocta-1,3,5-trienes form analogous adducts with tetracyanoethylene.
