Provided are molecules capable of binding to binding pockets of Plasmodium falciparum hexose transporter (PfHT) or analogs thereof and complexes comprising the same. Also provided herein are inhibitors of PfHT, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the inhibitors, and methods of using the inhibitors or the pharmaceutical compositions in the treatment of diseases associated with Plasmodium or PfHT or the killing or inhibiting the growth of Plasmodium.
