Specifically, the present invention also provides a process for preparing a nucleic acid oligomer represented by formula (4), which comprises contacting a nucleic acid oligomer represented by formula (3) with a fluoride ion under an atmosphere of an inert gas or inert gases containing 15 % or less of oxygen concentration (wherein the definitions of each groups described in formula (3) and formula (4) are the same as defined in the Description).
