Palladium(II) complexes of the TPA family (TPA − (2-pyridylmethyl)amine) have recently emerged as efficient catalysts of highly 3°-regioselective hydroxylation and chemoselective 2°-ketonization of aliphatic C–H groups with peroxycarboxylic acids.
