在用羊的全血和血浆孵化RUELENE后,色谱分析显示存在二甲氨基磷酸和苯甲基磷酸。还发现了其他几种代谢物,但并未完全鉴定。将RUELENE以100 PPM的浓度喂给产蛋鸡,持续7天。从排泄物中分离出6种代谢物。鉴定出了O-甲基磷酸和4-叔丁基-2-氯苯甲基磷酸。羊和家禽都能水解酯和酰胺基团,并形成通过羊的尿液或家禽的尿液和粪便排出的化合物。从羊尿液中分离出的一种化合物被认为是4-叔丁基-2-氯苯基二氢磷酸。

O-METHYL-PHOSPHORIC ACID AND 4-TERT-BUTYL-2-CHLOROPHENYL METHYL PHOSPHORIC ACID WERE ... IDENTIFIED. SHEEP AND POULTRY HYDROLYZED BOTH ESTER AND AMIDE GROUPINGS AND FORMED ... CMPD THAT WERE EXCRETED VIA URINE OF SHEEP OR URINE & FECES OF POULTRY. ONE COMPD FROM SHEEP URINE WAS BELIEVED TO BE 4-T-BUTYL-2-CHLOROPHENYL DIHYDROGEN PHOSPHORIC ACID.
