The present invention relates to a compound having a benzotriazole ring structure represented by the following general formula (1):
(wherein Ar represents a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group, or a substituted or unsubstituted condensed polycyclic aromatic group; A and B may be the same as or different from each other and each represent a hydrogen atom or a monovalent group represented by the following general formula (2), provided that A and B are not simultaneously hydrogen atoms):
(wherein R1 to R8 may be the same as or different from each other and each represent a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a cyano group, a trifluoromethyl group, a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group, or a substituted or unsubstituted condensed polycyclic aromatic group; m is an integer of 0, 1 or 2; X represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; when X is a nitrogen atom, the nitrogen atom does not have substituents or bonding groups of R1, R2, R3 and R4; and when m is 2, a plurality of R1, R2, R3, R4 and X each may be the same or different).
