This study focuses on the design, synthesis, and activity of chalcogenyl-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran derivatives as MAO-B inhibitors. A series of chalcogen-containing dihydrobenzofurans were successfully synthesized using a solvent- and metal-free approach with high yields.
