  报告了三种新衍生物的合成和络合特性，一种是螺双杯 [4] azacrown (1) 和两种杯 [4] azacrown (2 和 3)。三种配体对过渡金属和重金属阳离子的络合研究已经在乙腈中通过紫外吸收分光光度法进行和监测。所有复合物都检测到单核复合物，而在配体 1 与 Cu2+ 和 Pb2+ 的情况下也形成了双核物质 (M2L)。还报道了 1、2 和 3 对 Cu2+、Zn2+、Pb2+、Ag2+ 和 Cd2+ 的萃取特性。结果表明络合是影响配体2和3萃取的主要因素，而配体1则不是。
