Experimental and computational data disclose an interesting view on the reactivity of mesoionic imines (MIIs), whose versatile synthesis and coordination behavior are reported herein. MIIs appear to be stronger donors compared to their NHI-congeners and exhibit unique properties like fluorine specific interaction or C−H-activation.

A series of novel 5‐amino‐1,2,3‐triazole derivatives has been synthesized by combining a dipolar azide−nitrile cycloaddition with a Dimroth rearrangement undersolvent‐freeconditions. Solvent‐free approach for the synthesis of 5‐amino‐1,2,3‐triazoles is reported for the first time.
