We report an atom-economic Rh(III)-catalyzed [3 + 2]-spiroannulation reaction between cyclic ketimines and α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds, allowing the synthesis of novel spirocycles with concomitant generation of three stereogenic centers in one pot.
