1,3-Diacylglycerols modified in 2-position were synthesized by combining enzymatic and chemical methods. The syntheses started from the regioisomerically pure 1,3-dilauroylglycerol or 1,3-dimyristoylglycerol obtained from glycerol and vinyl esters of carboxylic acids by means of lipase from Mucor mihei.
