    C3-Symmetric, amino acid based organogelators and thickeners: a systematic study of structure–property relations
    摘要:
    A class of C-3-symmetric amino acid based organogelators and thickeners featuring a rigid core have been developed. Structural variation yielded a number of compounds, the aggregation behaviour and resulting aggregates and gels of which were studied by FTIR spectroscopy, dropping ball measurements, differential scanning calorimetry and transmission electron microscopy. These studies showed that the nature of the core unit, the type of hydrogen-bonding units and the applied amino acids have a strong influence on the interactions, resulting in large differences in aggregation properties, thermal stability and morphology between the various compounds. The results provide a basis for a better understanding of the relation between aggregate/gel properties and molecular structure. The structural variation available for these compounds allows fine-tuning of the gelators with respect to aggregation behaviour and gel properties. (c) 2007 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

    An isocyanate production method according to the present invention is a method in which an isocyanate is produced by subjecting a carbamate to thermal decomposition, and includes: a step of preparing a mixture liquid containing the carbamate, an inactive solvent and a polyisocyanate compound; a step of conducting a thermal decomposition reaction of the carbamate by continuously introducing the mixture liquid into a thermal decomposition reactor; a step of collecting a low-boiling decomposition product by continuously extracting the low-boiling decomposition product in a gaseous state from the reactor, the low-boiling decomposition product having a boiling point lower than the polyisocyanate compound; and a step of collecting a high-boiling component by continuously extracting, from the reactor, a liquid phase component which is not collected in a gaseous state at the step of collecting the low-boiling decomposition product.

A cloudiness of the lens is removed by raising a purity of sulfur to 98% or more. A reduction in a chlorine content of the sulfur compound described above to 0.1% by weight or less elevates an oxidation resistance and a light fastness of the high refractive index optical material and improves a color tone thereof. An optical product having a high refractive index and a high-degree transparency is provided by subjecting the composition in advance to deaerating treatment at 0 to 100° C. for one minute to 24 hours under a reduced pressure of 0.001 to 50 torr.

    Disclosed is a moisture-curing type curable resin composition containing: a curable resin intramolecularly having a silicon-containing functional group; and a Lewis acid or a complex of the Lewis acid as a curing catalyst, the Lewis acid being selected from the group consisting of metal halides and boron halides, which is rapidly cured at room temperature. The silicon-containing functional group is represented by general formula: —SiX 1 X 2 X 3 or —SiR 1 X 1 X 2 (wherein, X 1 , X 2 and X 3 respectively represent a hydrolytic group and may be the same as or different from each other, and R 1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted organic group having 1 to 20 carbons). If the silicon-containing functional group is —SiR 1 X 1 X 2 , the curable resin further contains intramolecularly a polar component that is one of urethane, thiourethane, urea, thiourea, substituted urea, substituted thiourea, amide, and sulfide bonds, and hydroxyl, secondary amino and tertiary amino groups. Two-part type adhesive is constitutible with separating the curable resin from the curing catalyst.
