Preparation and oxygen sensing properties of a luminescent composite material based on a mixed-ligand ruthenium(II) complex [Ru(phen)2DPOP]Cl2 phen = 1, 10-phenanthroline, DPOP = 2-(11-dipyrido [3, 2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine)-5-phenyl-1, 3, 4-oxadiazole} are reported, which are assembled in mesoporous silica MCM-41. As a result, the emission intensities of all assembly systems are sensitive to oxygen concentrations
