Die Verbindungen werden erhalten indem man Harze oder deren Veresterungsprodukte mit mehrwertigen Alkoholen oxalkyliert und nach Umwandlung von Hydroxygruppen in geeignete Abgangsgruppen mit Aminen der Formel Z-H umsetzt. Die Produkte eignen sich vor allem als Kupplungshilfsmittel, Dispergiermittel und Präparationsmittel für Farbmittel.
