    摘要:
    Zirconium and hafnium ansa-complexes containing 2,4,6-trialkyl-substituted indenyl fragments were synthesized and unambiguously characterized. Mixtures of rac- and meso-Me2Si(2-Me-4,6-R2C9H3-eta(5))(2)MCl2, where R = Me, i-Pr and M = Zr, Hf, were obtained by a treatment of MCl4 by dilithium salts of the respective bis(2,4,6-trialkylindenyl)dimethylsilanes in toluene. Alternatively, better yields of the same complexes can be obtained by the reaction between metal tetrachlorides and indenyl-tin derivatives gave the desired ansa-metallocenes. All rac- and meso-complexes of Zr and Hf were isolated in an analytically pure form, and six of these ansa-metallocenes were characterized by X-ray crystal structure analysis. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.     The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a compound of the formula IV or IVa ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 -R.sup.5 are preferably hydrogen or alkyl, which comprises reacting a compound I ##STR2## with a compound II ##STR3## in which X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 are preferably halogen, to give the corresponding indanones, which are converted into the compounds IV and IVa by reduction and dehydration. The compounds IV and IVa are important intermediate products for the preparation of chiral metallocene complexes which are suitable catalyst components for olefin polymerization.

    The present invention relates to a process for preparing 1-indanones of formula I: 1 and isomers thereof, wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , and R 6 independently represent H or a C 1 -C 20 hydrocarbon group or R 1 and R 2 or R 2 and R 3 or R 3 and R 4 and/or R 5 and R 6 together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached form a saturated or unsaturated 5- or 6-membered ring, said hydrocarbon group and/or said ring optionally containing one or more hetero atoms, said ring optionally being substituted with a C 1 -C 4 hydrocarbon group, said process comprising reacting a compound of formula II: 2 wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , and R 6 have the same meaning as defined above, with a chlorinating agent, followed by reaction with a Friedel-Crafts catalyst. The invention further relates to the preparation of the corresponding indenes.
