The reaction of Hf(NMe2)4 with 2 equiv of 1a,e yields (pyCAr2O)2Hf(NMe2)2 (6a,e), while reaction with 3 equiv of 1b,c yields (pyCAr2O)3Hf(NMe2) (7b,c).
