Benzamide also reacts with [OsH2(CO)(PPh3)3] to yield the bis(benzamidato) complex [OsNHC(O)Ph}2(CO)2(PPh3)2]4. A crystallographic study of 1a established a binuclear structure bridged by hydride, benzamidate(1–) and benzamidate(2–) ligands.
