π-(2,6-Dimethylpyridine)(triphenylphosphine)dicarbonylchromium was prepared by the photochemical reaction of π-(2,6-dimethylpyridine)tricarbonylchromium with triphenylphosphine. Analogously, π-(2,4,6-trimethylpyridine)(triphenylphosphine)dicarbonylchromium, π-(2,6-dimethylpyridine)(trimethyl phosphite)dicarbonylchromium, and π(2,6-dimethylpyridine)bis(trimethyl phosphite)carbonylchromium were prepared
