Provided is a novel extractant for palladium capable of improving an extraction rate compared to the conventional extractant, DHS, and also capable of back-extracting palladium using an ammonia solution, and a method of separating and recovering palladium using the novel extractant. The present invention provides a method for obtaining an aqueous solution containing palladium only by: bringing an acidic aqueous solution containing at least palladium into contact with an organic solution containing a sulfide-containing monoamide as an active integredient represented by the following structural formula (I),
