  Novel (2S,3S,5R) morpholinols of formula (I) together with the (+-)-(2R*,3R*,5S*) racemates thereof, and their salts, wherein X is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms or a group -CH₂-X¹ where X¹ is cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms.
