    Flammhemmende Polymermassen enthalten ein Polymer aus Styrol oder einem anderen vinylaromatischen Monomeren oder ein Copolymer aus Styrol und einem anderen Monomeren oder ein Polymergemenge aus einem Styrolpolymeren und einem anderen Polymeren wie einem Potyphenylenoxyd sowie ein Triarylphosphat der Formel worin x 0. oder 2 ist und R1, Rz und R3 gleich oder verschieden sind und Wasserstoff oder eine Alkylgruppe mit bis 9 Kohlenstoffatomen darstellen. Gegebenenfalls enthalten die Massen ferner ein Oligomer und/oder einen Novolak.

    A coating composition for the preparation of synthetic resin shaped articles excellent in abrasion resistance and weatherability is described. This composition comprises (a) a polyfunctional monomer mixture comprising (i) 25-75 wt.% of at least one polyfunctional monomer of the formula (I): wherein at least three of X11. X12. X13, X22. X23... Xn2. Xn3 and X14 are CH2=CH·COO- and the remaining groups are -OH, and n is an integer of 1-5, (ii) 25-75 wt.% of at least one polyfunctional monomer of the formula (II): wherein at least three of the Rs are CH2=CH COO- and each of the remaining is H or -OH, n1. n2. n3. n4, m1. m2. m, and m4 are integers of 0. 1 or 2, and X is an integer of 1 to 10 and (iii) 0 to 50 wt.% of a monomer containing one acryloyloxy group and having a boiling point of at least 150 C at normal pressure and a viscosity of not higher than 20 cps/20°C, and (b) 0.01-6.0 wt. parts, based on 100 wt. parts of the polyfunctional monomer mixture, of at least one photosensitizer. The coating composition is coated on a synthetic resin shaped article and then, irradiated with ultraviolet rays in air to form a crosslinked coating film having a thickness of 1-30 microns.

    A surface-protected plastic composite material comprising a transparent plastic, a coating layer (I) as a first layer stacked on the transparent plastic and a thermally cured coating layer (II) as a second layer stacked on the first layer, the coating layer (I) being formed of a resin composition containing at least 50 % by weight, based on the resin content thereof, of an acrylic resin which is an acrylic resin containing at least 50 mol% of recurring unit based on an alkyl methacrylate, the thermally cured coating layer (II) being made of an organosiloxane resin formed from the following components a, b and c, (A) colloidal silica (component a), (B) a hydrolysis condensate (component b) of a trialkoxysilane, (C) a hydrolysis condensate (component c) of a tetraalkoxysilane,    the organosiloxane resin containing 5 to 45 % by weight of the component a, 50 to 80 % by weight of the component b and 2 to 30 % by weight of the component c, and use of the composite material as a window glass. The present invention provides a transparent plastic composite material that is remarkably improved in abrasion resistance and anti-peeling properties.

The laminate comprises a polycarbonate substrate, a first layer formed on the surface of the polycarbonate substrate, and a second layer formed on the surface of the first layer, wherein the first layer is composed of a crosslinked acrylic copolymer and an ultraviolet light absorber, and the second layer is composed of a crosslinked organosiloxane polymer; and the crosslinked acrylic copolymer comprises specific recurring units and an urethane bond in a specific ratio, and the organosiloxane polymer has a specific structure composed of colloidal silica and alkoxysilanes.

Also disclosed is a heat ray reflective laminate which has high environmental durability and is suitable as a window material for buildings or automobiles. A heat ray reflective laminate which is a laminate comprising a transparent substrate and a heat ray reflective layer and which has a solar reflectance of at least 15% as measured from the side containing the heat ray reflective layer, wherein the heat ray reflective layer comprises a binder resin containing a hydrophilic group other than an N-pyrrolidonyl group, and a metal, and the heat ray reflective layer has a layer thickness of at most 100 nm.
