Annulations of 2‐imino‐4‐thiazolidinone (5) via cycloaddition followed by cyclocondensation reaction with 1,3‐diphenylpropenone (6), benzylidenemalonate, and 1,2‐bis(chloromethyl)benzene gave 7, 19 and 20, respectively. Reaction of 5 with suitable electrophiles (Mannich bases of arylalkanone), 1,4‐dichlorobenzene (diarylmethylation), and formylation afforded 8/9, 21/22, and 23, respectively. J. Heterocyclic
