    that 2 and 4 exhibit fast, sensitive, and selective luminescence quenching responses towards Cr2O72−/CrO42− in an aqueous solution. The limit of detection for Cr2O72−/CrO42− ions were estimated to be 0.51 and 0.60 ppm for 2 (0.89 and 1.03 ppm for 4), respectively, which are comparable to those reported for the CP-based fluorescent probes that can simultaneously detect Cr2O72−/CrO42− in aqueous environments

Additionally, the real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was conducted and the activation levels of SAMD signaling pathway in the liver cells was measured.
