  There are disclosed salts of amino-(poly)percarboxylic acids having the formula: wherein R, R₁ and R₂ represent hydrogen or alkyl or two groups R, R₁ and R₂ are taken together with the nitrogen atom to re­sult in a heterocyclic ring. A represents (cyclo)alkylene , arylene, cycloalkylene-alkylene, alkylene-cycloalkylene, ary­lene-alkylene or alkylene-arylene, said alkylene units optio­nally having interspersed CONR₃ groups, wherein R₃ is hydro­gen, alkyl or aryl; X represents HSO₄ or CH₃SO₃; and n is an integer of from 1 to 6. Also disclosed is a process for their preparation and their use as bleaching agents.
