  A medical composition for external use comprising a proline ester represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are as defined in the specification, or a prolinol ester represented by formula (II): ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are as defined in the specification.
