Microwave-assisted synthesis of hydroxyethylamine dipeptide isosteres
Microwave irradiation with calcium trifluoromethanesulfonate as a catalyst enabled epoxide opening with protected amino acids in high yields and with very short reaction times. Using this improved method, a series of hydroxyethyleneamine dipeptideisosteres was synthesized.
