    The preparation of a fluorous super Bronsted acid catalyst, 4-(1H,1H-perfluorotetradecanoxy)-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenylbis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)methane (3d), is described. The fluorous catalyst 3d can be recycled by using liquid/solid phase separation without fluorous solvents. A perfluorocarbon solvent is not essential for fluorous biphasic catalysis.

    The present invention provides a method for producing various types of arylbis(perfluoroalkylsulfonyl)methane having a bulky aryl group and an electron-accepting aryl group in which synthesis was conventionally considered to be difficult, at high efficiency; a novel arylbis(perfluoroalkylsulfonyl)methane that can be widely applied to asymmertric catalyst, various types of functional materials and the like; and a metallic salt thereof. In addition, excellent catalysts are also provided. An aryl halomethane is reacted with a sodium trifluoromethane sulfinate, the arylmethyl triflone produced thereby is reacted with a t-BuLi and the like, the lithium salt of the arylmethyl triflone obtained is reacted with a trifluoromethane sulfonic acid anhydride, and an arylbis(trifluoromethylsulfony)methane such as pentafluorophenylbis(triflyl)methane, {4-(pentafluorophenyl)-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl}bis(triflyl)methane and the like are obtained at a high yield.

    A catalyst for homopolymerizing and copolymerizing propylene and its preparation and use. The catalyst component includes titanium compound containing at least one Ti-halogen bond and at least two kinds of electron donor compounds A and B supported on MgCl2.nROH adduct, wherein the electron donor compound A is a compound of formula (I), the electron donor compound B is ester or ether compound; the molar ratio between compound A and compound B is 0.1-5; the molar ratio between the total amounts of the two kinds of electron donors and MgCl2.nROH is 0.01-1, based on the amount of MgCl2.nROH; and the molar ration between the titanium compound containing Ti-halogen bond and MgCl2.nROH is 1-200. The catalyst has high activity high stereospecificity and good copolymerization performance. In addition, the morphology of the polymer obtained therefrom is good.
