Syntheses, crystal structures, luminescence and thermal properties of three lanthanide complexes with 2-bromine-5-methoxybenzoate and 2,2:6′,2″-terpyridine

mononuclear lanthanide complexes [Ln(2-Br-5-MOBA)3(terpy)(H2O)] (Ln = Gd (1), Tb (2), Er (3); 2-Br-5-MOBA = 2-bromine-5-methoxybenzoate; terpy = 2,2:6′,2″-terpyridine) have been successfully synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
