The present invention relates to polyether compounds, active hydrogen compounds and resin-forming compositions composed of the polyols, and methods for producing foams by employing the active hydrogen components. These polyether compounds have a decreased number of moles of added EO thereby maintaining the hydrophobicity and have sufficient reactivity as polyol components of resins, thereby having high reaction rates. Therefore, it is possible to provide resins having excellent resin properties (tensile strength, flexural strength, water-absorption swelling ratio, etc.).

Fine particles of high heat resistant polymer prepared by copolymerizing at least one epoxy ester (C) having two or more unsaturated double bonds in one molecules and at least one reactive monomer (D) having at least one vinyl group in one molecule, the at least one epoxy ester (C) being obtained by adding at least one unsaturated monobasic acid (B) to at least one epoxide (A-1) having at least one glycidyl group in one molecule and a monocyclic hydrocarbon and/or to at least one epoxide (A-2) having at least one cycloaliphatic epoxy group in one molecule. The fine polymer particles have excellent heat resistance and solvent resistance, and an aqueous or alcoholic dispersion of such fine polymer particles is produced therefrom. Also, the epoxy ester used as an intermediate material provides a uniform emulsion for preparing the fine polymer particles.

The present invention provides a method of producing an aqueous dispersion which comprises
dispersing a resin (b) or a solvent solution thereof, or a precursor (b0) of said resin (b) or a solvent solution thereof in an aqueous dispersion of resin particles (A) composed of resin (a) and
causing the precursor (b0) to react in the case where the precursor (b0) or a solvent solution thereof is used, to prepare resin particles (B) composed of said resin (b) in said aqueous dispersion of resin particles (A) and
thereby give an aqueous dispersion (X1) of resin particles (C) having a structure such that the resin particle (A) adheres to the surface of the resin particle (B).
Further, an aqueous dispersion (X2) of resin particles (B) can be produced by a method
which comprises cleaving the resin particle (A) and resin particle (B) from each other and
removing resin particles (A), or
which comprises dissolving resin particles (A).
The present invention can make it possible to obtain resin particles of uniform particle diameter.
An adhesive for resin roll assembly which is to be used in such a manner that the adhesive is injected into the space between a cylindrical object made of a resin and either a roll core or a fiber-reinforced underlayer formed by winding a fibrous material impregnated with a thermosetting resin on the outer periphery of a roll core and is then gradationally cured to unite the cylindrical object to the roll core or underlayer. It comprises an epoxy resin (a) and one or more amine compound curing agents (b) selected from the group consisting of aliphatic polyamines, alicyclic polyamines, heterocyclic polyamines, polyamide-polyamines having a number-average molecular weight of 800 or lower, polyether polyamines having a number-average molecular weight of 1,000 or lower, and cyanoethylated polyamines.
