    An oil extended rubber comprising 100 parts by weight of (A) an amino group-containing copolymer rubber of a conjugated diolefin and an aromatic vinyl compound which contains bonded amino groups in the amount of 0.0025-0.20 mmol/g polymer, and 10-100 parts by weight of (B) an extensible oil. Carbon black, silica, a mixture of carbon black and silica, or a carbon-silica dual-phase-filler can be homogeneously dispersed in the oil extended rubber. Vulcanized products obtained by vulcanizing the rubber exhibits well-balanced improved properties such as wet skid properties, low hysteresis loss properties, abrasion resistance, and breaking strength, and are useful as a tread material for low fuel consumption tires, large tires, and high performance tires.

    Disclosed are a conjugated diolefin (co)polymer rubber formed from either a conjugated diolefin or a conjugated diolefin and an aromatic vinyl compound, wherein the (co) polymer rubber has a primary amino group and an alkoxysilyl group which are bonded to a (co)polymer chain; a process for producing the same; a rubber composition; a composite; and a tire. The (co) polymer rubber has satisfactory processability, and can give an automotive tire tread having a balance among wear resistance, failure characteristics, low hysteresis loss and wet-skid characteristics.

    There is obtained a rubber composition excellent in processability of unvulcanized compounded rubber, excellent in wear resistance and wet skid resistance of vulcanized rubber, low in rolling resistance, and suitable for tire applications, particularly for tire tread applications in which importance is given to low fuel consumption and safety. A rubber composition mainly comprising (I) 0.5 to 35% by weight of a conjugated diene-based (co)polymer rubber having an amino group and an alkoxysilyl group on a polymer chain and having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 to 90,000, and (II) 99.5 to 65% by weight of a conjugated diene-based (co) polymer rubber having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000 to 2,000,000 (with the proviso that (I)+(II)=100% by weight).

    There is provided a run flat tire having a side reinforcing layer in which low exothermic property and high hardness are compatible and durability is improved. A rubber composition containing 10 to 100 parts by weight of carbon black with a nitrogen adsorption specific area of 30 to 100 m2/g and a dibutyl phthalate oil absorption amount of 50 ml/100 g or more and 2 parts by weight or more of sulfur or a sulfur compound, based on 100 parts by weight of a rubber component containing 10 to 50 % by weight of a conjugated diolefin polymer or a copolymer of a diolefin and an aromatic vinyl compound having a primary amino group and an alkoxysilyl group and having a glass transition point of -30°C or less in which a bifunctional or more monomer is copolymerized in a polymer chain and/or at least a portion of a (co)polymer chain is coupled with a bifunctional or more coupling agent, and a run flat tire having a side reinforcing layer comprising the rubber composition.

    A rubber composition comprising: (A) a rubber component including 30 to 100 mass% of diene rubber having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of an amino group, an alkoxysilyl group, an epoxy group, a hydroxyl group, and a carboxyl group in an amount of 0.01 to 5.0 mmol per 100 g of the diene rubber; (B) silica in an amount of 5 to 130 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component; and (C) an aliphatic component having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group, a hydroxyl group, an amino group, and an epoxy group in an amount of 3 to 15 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the silica. The rubber composition and a tire using the rubber composition exhibit excellent scorching properties before vulcanization and exhibit excellent rolling resistance and wet skid properties after vulcanization.
