A skin treatment composition having a water dispersion of a polymer in which a non-water soluble film-forming polymer is dispersed in water wherein the main ingredients of said film-forming polymer are polyurethane having a film shrinkage rate of 20% or less and an acrylic type polymer having a film shrinkage rate of 20% or less. Also, a skin treatment composition for wrinkle reduction comprising (a) a non-emulsification type cross-linked silicone, (b) a film forming polymer having a film shrinkage rate of 20% or less containing as a main ingredient a polyurethane having a film shrinkage rate of 20%, (c) a liquid oil component, and (d) water.

    An inkjet ink is provided, which produces a print that does not stick to a print printed by a plane paper copier or a laser printer even when these prints are laid on each other with the printed surfaces thereof facing each other. The inkjet ink comprises at least a pigment and a solvent, wherein 30 to 70% by weight of the solvent is constituted by a non-polar solvent, and 20% by weight or more of the solvent is constituted by an ester solvent having an α value of 6° to 8°, preferably 7° to 8°. Preferably, the ester solvent is at least one member selected from the group consisting of isooctyl palmitate, isooctyl isopalmitate and 2-octyldodecyl pivalate.

    By coating the surface of a powder comprising a silicone resin and/or an organic powder with a specific hydrophilizing agent, such powder is hydrophilized. The hydrophilizing agent includes water-soluble polyoxyalkylene glycol derivatives. The organic powder is at least one selected from PMMA, nylon, polyester, polystyrene, cellulose, silicone elastomer powder, silicone rubber powder, benzoguanamine, styrenedivinylbenzene pinhole polymer, ethylene tetrafluoride, polyethylene powder, polypropylene powder, polyurethane powder, silk powder, metal soap powder, starch powder, N-acylated lysine, an organic pigment, and a composite of at least one of these organic powders described above with a metal oxide and/or a metal hydroxide. Such coated (treated) powder has extremely great dispersibility (ease of dispersion) and very good dispersion stability (long-term dispersion stability with lapse of time) in aqueous dispersion media, particularly under acidic and alkaline conditions, specifically at pH 3 through 13. Using the surface-treated powder, additionally, a dispersion with good dispersibility (ease of dispersion) and great dispersion stability, preferably for cosmetics can be provided. The use of the surface-treated powder, or the use of the dispersion can provide further a cosmetic excellent in dispersibility and dispersion stability and further in re-dispersibility and dispersion stability with lapse of time and smooth feeling as compared to the related art when selecting aqueous cosmetic as an agent form.

    An ultraviolet absorbing composition for a skin and hair, which has absorption of high absorbance in both UV-A region and UV-B region, wherein an ultraviolet absorbing compounds in the ultraviolet absorbing composition, will not precipitate or turn to yellow in the process of preparing cosmetics. Moreover, the ultraviolet absorbing composition shows excellent feeling in use, and will not dye clothes easily, and may be applied to the skin and hair of a living object, and exhibits excellent capability of absorbing an ultraviolet light. The ultraviolet absorbing composition for skin and hair, comprises the ultraviolet absorbing compound represented by formula (1) and at least one ultraviolet absorbing compound selected from the group consisting of formulae (I) to (V). In formula (1), Y11 and Y12 each independently represents a monovalent substituent. One of Y11 or Y12 is cyano group, and the other is cyano group or an optionally substituted alkylcarbonyl group, arylcarbonyl group, heterocyclic carbonyl group, alkylsulfonyl group, arylsulfonyl group, carbamoyl group, sulfamoyl group, alkoxycarbonyl group, or aryloxycarbonyl group. V11 and V12 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent. The compound of formula (1) is a benzodithiol. The compounds of formulae (I) to (V) are benzophenones, a triazine, a benzotriazole and a dibenzoylmethane derivative.
