Novel 4-(2-chloropyridin-4-yl)-N-aryl-1,3-thiazol-2-amines have been prepared by reacting (4-bromoacetyl)-2-chloropyridine with thiourea and substituted thioureas. The newly synthesized compounds have been characterized by analytical and spectral data. All the compounds have been screened for their antifungal and antibacterial activities.
