The writing instrument set has a plurality of the writing instruments respectively different from each other in color tone.

The present invention provides a thermochromic color-memory toner having a function that an image formed on a copied matter can be maintained in either in a colored state or a decolored state.
A thermochromic color-memory toner containing: at least a microcapsule pigment encapsulating a thermochromic color-memory composition; and a binder resin, in which the microcapsule pigment shows a hysteresis characteristic that, in a temperature-rise process where the pigment is in a colored state, decoloration starts when the temperature reaches temperature t3 and the pigment completely reaches a decolored state in a temperature region of equal to or higher than temperature t4 which is higher than temperature t3, and, in a temperature-drop process, coloration starts when the temperature reaches temperature t2 which is lower than temperature t3 and the pigment completely reaches a colored state in a temperature region of equal to or lower than temperature t1 which is lower than temperature t2, with either the colored state or the decolored state being selectively observed visually in a temperature region between temperature t2 and temperature t3, and the temperature t1 is in a range of from -50 to 0°C and the temperature t4 is in a range of from 50 to 150°C; a cartridge including the toner housed therein; an image formation, apparatus; a cartridge set; and an image formation apparatus set.
[Object] To provide a reversibly thermochromic composition free from accidental discoloration by heat conducting from the opposite side writing surface or by self-heating due to quick writing; and also to provide a solid writing material and a writing ink composition comprising that composition.
[Means to solve the problem] A reversibly thermochromic composition comprising a combination of: (a) a reversibly thermochromic component capable of being discolored or decolored by heat and (b) a component for controlling heat conducting to the reversibly thermochromic component; and also a solid writing material and a writing ink composition comprising that composition.
The invention aims at providing a solid writing material having a good color changing property or color extinguishing property, and having an excellent light resistance, moldability and strength. The solid writing material includes an inner core usable for writing and an outer shell covering an outer peripheral surface of the inner core; the inner core including a reversible thermochromic microcapsuled pigment encapsulating a temperature-sensitive color-changeable color-memorizing composition and an excpient; the temperature-sensitive color-changeable color-memorizing composition including at least (a) an electron-donating coloring organic compound, (b) an electron accepting compound and (c) a reaction medium effecting reversibly an electron transfer reaction between the (a) and (b) components in a specific temperature range; the outer shell including a filler.
