    A pesticidal composition comprising: about 2.0% to 30.0%, by weight, of a pesticide, the technical grade of said pesticide having an acute dermal LD50 value, measured on rats or rabbits, of less than 50 mg/kg; about 5.0% to 20.0%, by weight, of a polyvinyl chloride or polyvinyl chloride/vinyl ester copolymer or homopolymer having a weight average molecular weight of about 200,000 to 400,000 and an inherent viscosity, as determined by ASTMD 1243, of about 1.00 to 1.32; about 5.0% to 15.0%, by weight, of a secondary plasticizing agent; about 0.3% to 2.0%, by weight, of a heat stabilizing agent for said resin; about 0.5% to 2.0%, by weight, of a surface active agent; about 40.0% to 80.0%, by weight, of a solid sorptive carrier; about 0.0% to 2.0%, by weight, of a drying agent and lubricant; and about 0.0% to 6.0%, by weight, of a de­activator; wherein said pesticidal composition is a solid sorptive granular pesticidal resin composition. The compositions are characterized by markendly reduced mammalian toxicity in comparison to the technical grade pesticide.

    There is provided an oxidant dopant agent for conductive polymer production, and a solution thereof, in which they are capable of producing a conductive polymer suitable in producing an electrolyte capacitor having a low leak current. There is also provided a conductive polymer prepared by using either of them. There is also provided an electrolyte capacitor having a low leak current. The oxidant dopant agent includes: an organic ferric sulfonate; and at least one kind selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, phosphate, phosphorous acid, phosphite, boric acid, borate, thiophosphoric acid, thiophosphate, dithiophosphoric acid and dithiophosphate. The solution includes the oxidant dopant agent dissolved in water, an alcohol or a mixture of water and an alcohol. A conductive polymer is prepared by means of oxidation polymerization of a monomer such as thiophene or its derivative. The conductive polymer is used as an electrolyte to provide an electrolyte capacitor.

    The method for preparing an electrolyte capacitor includes: providing an oxidant dopant agent for preparing the conductive polymer including: ferric naphthalenesulfonate; and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of phosphate, phosphite, borate, thiophosphate, and dithiophosphate. The method also includes preparing a conductive polymer by using the oxidant dopant agent to obtain an electrolyte comprising the conductive polymer.

    A composite membrane and method for making the same, comprising a porous support and a polyamide surface. The subject membrane provides improved flux and/or rejection rates. The subject membrane is further capable of operating at lower operating pressures. The subject method includes reacting a polyfunctional amine with a polyfunctional acyl halide to form a polyamide. The method includes the step of contacting a complexing agent with the polyfunctional acyl halide prior substantial reaction between the polyfunctional acyl halide and a polyfunctional amine. The subject process is easily adapted to commercial scale manufacturing processes and is particularly suited for making nanofiltration and reverse osmosis composite membranes.

    (EN) A collector composition for use in froth flotation processes comprises two collectors. One of the collectors is preferably an omega-(hydrocarbylthio)-alkylamine, S-(omega-aminoalkyl) hydrocarbyl thioate, N-(hydrocarbyl)-alpha, omega-alkanediamine, (omega-aminoalkyl) hydrocarbon amide, omega-(hydrocarbyloxy)-alkylamine, omega-aminoalkyl hydrocarbonate, omega-(hydrocarbylthio)alkylamide or mixture thereof. The second collector is a thiocarbonate, a thionocarbamate, a thiophosphate, thiocarbinilide, thiophosphinate, mercaptan, xanthogen formate, xanthic ester or mixture thereof.
