    An object of the present invention is to provide a cured product which is excellent in characteristics such as an electric insulation property, a heat impact resistance, an adhesive property and the like and to provide a photosensitive insulation resin composition from which the above cured product can be obtained and which is suited to uses such as an interlayer insulation film, a surface protecting layer and the like in semiconductor elements. The photosensitive insulation resin composition according to the present invention is characterized by comprising (A) a copolymer comprising 10 to 99 mole % of a constitutional unit (A1) represented by the following Formula (1) and 90 to 1 mole % of a constitutional unit (A2) represented by the following Formula (2) (provided that the total of all constitutional units constituting the above copolymer (A) is 100 mole %): (wherein R 1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group or an aryl group; R 2 represents a hydrogen atom or methyl; m is an integer of 1 to 3, and n is an integer of 0 to 3; and m+n≦5; R 3 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group or an aryl group; R 4 represents a hydrogen atom or methyl; and k is an integer of 0 to 3), (B) a compound (B1) having an oxetanyl group, (C) a photosensitive acid generator, (D) a solvent and (F) cross-linked fine particles.

    @ Polymer blends having improved impact resistance and structural integrity comprise at least one aromatic polymer such as polyphenylene oxide, optionally in combination with a styrene homopolymer; at least one elastomer containing highly polar ionic (e.g. sulfonate or carboxylate) substituents, such as a sulfonated EPDM rubber; and at least one substituted aromatic polymer in which the substituents are highly polar ionic substituents, such as a sulfonated polyphenylene oxide or styrene-sodium acrylate copolymer. The compositions preferably also contain at least one plasticizer.

    Unsaturated polyester resins of the type already having reactive liquid polymers reacted into the backbone of the resins, are cured in the presence of a reactive liquid polymer additive admixed with the prereacted unsaturated polyester resin. Heating of this system during cure causes the reactive liquid polymer additive to miscibilize with the unsaturated polyester resin. The unsaturated polyester resin modified in the manner described above shows a significant enhancement in toughness as measured by fracture energy over unmodified counterparts or counterparts modified by known methods of adduction or admixing alone.

    A photographic element comprising a support having provided thereon a light-sensitive layer and a transparent magnetic recording layer, the magnetic recording layer comprising a transparent polymeric binder, ferro-magnetic particles and reinforcing filler particles, the magnetic particles having a surface area greater than 30 m2/gm and a coverage of from about 1x10-11 mg/µm3 to about 1x10-10 mg/µm3, the filler particles having a median diameter less than 0.15 µm, a Mohs hardness of at least 6 and being present in the transparent magnetic layer in an amount of about 20% to about 300% by weight based on the weight of the polymeric binder present.
