  2-Sulfonimidoylylidene tetrahydrofurans and 2-sulfonimidoylylidene-5-vinyl tetrahydrofurans were readily synthesized via a consecutive acylation/SN2 sequence with total regio- and chemoselectivity from Johnson's sulfoximine derivatives.
