Abstract Vibrational data are reported and discussed for ten complexes of diethylamino or phenyl-substituted dithioxodi-λ 5 -phosphanes (diphosphine disulphides) with copper(I), palladium(II) and platinum(II) salts. The complexes are characterized by the IR activity of the ν(PP), ν s (PS) and ν as (PS) skeletal stretching vibrations of the coordinated ligands, and by a shift to lower frequency of
