Various C–C and C‐X bonds could be formed by doublefunctionalization of olefins featuring Cu‐mediated assistedtandemcatalysis. Furthermore, one‐pot indoline syntheses with o‐bromostyrenes as an application could be achieved.

one-pot aminoalkoxylation of styrenes using primary and secondary alcohols and three different iminoiodanes as alkoxy and nitrogen sources respectively, is reported. The β-alkoxy-N-protected phenethylamines obtained were used to synthesise β-alkoxy-N-benzylphenethylamines which are interesting new compounds that could act as possible neuronal ligands.
Nitrene Transfer Reactions Catalyzed by Gold Complexes

We report here the first gold-catalyzed nitrenetransferreaction. A gold(I) compound, supported by 4,4‘,4‘ ‘-tri-tert-butyl-2,2‘:6‘,2‘ ‘-terpyridine (tBu3tpy) as the ligand, efficiently catalyzes olefin aziridination with the use of the commercially available oxidant PhI(OAc)2 and sulfonamides. This system also mediates carbene insertion into benzene.

Photo-Induced Aziridination of Alkenes with <i>N</i>-Sulfonyliminoiodinanes
Activation of N-sulfonyliminiodinanes was achieved by photo-irradiation at 375 nm, which enabled the reaction with several alkenes to afford the corresponding aziridines. Mechanistic studies suggested that the reaction would proceed through a stepwise mechanism via radical intermediates rather than through a concerted process.
(t-BuOI) was found to be a powerful reagent for synthesis of aziridines from olefins and sulfonamides. The aziridination of olefins was achieved by using sulfonamides with t-BuOI. Our preliminary findings represent the example of metal-free aziridination of olefins with readily accessible sulfonamides as a nitrogensource.
