1,5-diacyl thiocarbohydrazides were efficiently synthesized by the reactions of thiocarbohydrazide with a variety of aroyl chlorides at r.t. using PEG-400 as a phase-transfer catalyst. Meanwhile, 1,5-diacyl thiocarbohydrazides were be expeditiously transformed into corresponding 1,5-diacyl carbohydrazides with periodic acid by r.t. grinding a under solventless condition.
