The rate constants, for the reaction between phenylisocyanate and a series of aminoboranes have been determined using infrared spectroscopy. The relative rates for bis-amino-phenylboranes are NHBun > NMe2 > NHBut, NHBun > NHBui > NHBus, and for are NMe2 > NHBut > OMe > Br > F > Cl > Ph.
