A variety of β-enaminoketones and esters have been synthesized in high to exellent yields by reacting β-dicarbonyl compounds with amines in the presence of a catalytic amount of indiumtribromide. The reaction proceeds smoothly at room temperature in a short reaction time under solvent-free conditions.

The reaction proceeds smoothly at room temperature under solvent-free conditions and gives the corresponding β-enamino compounds in high to excellent yields.

In this paper, a simple method is reported for the preparation of trifluoroaceticacid immobilized silica magnetite nanoparticles. It is a new magnetic nano-catalyst for β-enaminone synthesis from 1 3-dicarbonyl compound.
