  A novel stereoselective 1,5-addition and N-1,4-addition cascade reaction is developed for the convenient preparation of valuable polysubstituted dihydropyrroles in high yields and with excellent diastereoselectivity. An unprecedented enantioselective protocol is also disclosed to access enantioenriched dihydropyrroles.
